Who are we
With a 17-4 record for 2011, Memphis Womenâ??s Rugby has earned their shot at USA Rugby Nationalâ??s for the first time since the teamâ??s establishment in 2004. November 10th, 2011, 25+ Memphis Womenâ??s Rugby players will make their way to Virginia Beach, VA to compete against the top 8 teams in the United States in their national division. This is not only a very exciting accomplishment for the team, but a huge accomplishment and opportunity for the city of Memphis. The team has been fundraising constantly this year for this trip but we still need your support. We do not have any sponsorâ??s (although we would love to have them ) therefore, all the expenses to travel across the U.S. are taken care by the players individually- 97% of the time.
